    "War of 1812: What it Meant to Portsmouth" Opening reception and exhibit.

    A story of privateers, privation, protection and a search for peace told through the stories of Portsmouth families including Boardman, Larkin, Hale, Haven, Langdon and Ladd.

    Silhouette exhibit opens

    Use a pantograph to make a silhouette! Pay $5 to have one made or its free if you become a member today.

    Sat 7th   John Paul Jones 265th Birthday Weekend Kickoff begins with "John Paul Jones" the movie at Discover Portsmouth, 4pm
    Sun 8th   John Paul Jones birthday party with music and cake- Free Admission/ Suggested donation $5
    Thurs 26th   Anniversary date for John Paul Jones- 25 cents admission/ Suggested donation $5
    Sat 28th   Gallery Talk with Lynn Crocker on Benjamin Floyd, bookbinder, and the impact of the War of 1812 on his business and life
